Airbrush mini compressors
Is there a mini compressor anyone would recommend?

Weekly Photo Fun - Mar 7-13, 2021
It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em. There were a few late-comers in last week's post. Check them out, then come back here afterward.

Source for Vallejo Paint
Does anyone know a good source to buy Vallejo acrylic paints? I'm looking for flat railroad colors in the larger 1 or 2 oz bottles and their weathering paints. There are several places listed online and Hobby Lobby is supposed to carry the line, but their supply is limited with many items on backorder.

03.05.21 - VIDEO: When the backdrop installation goes PERFECTLY
03.05.21 - Well here is the latest Monsterrailroad video, SUCCESSFUL installatiion of the model railroad backdrop on my HO SoCal Desert Rail Division II Layout!
Tiana is HILARIOUS! As I was editing this video I saw that Tiana was yapping most of the time while I was recording this video. Hilarious! Enjoy!
Adjustable shelf brackets for benchwork?
Hi all,
I noticed this material at Home Depot and thought it might have interesting applications for shelf benchwork. It looked like it might be particularly useful for double-decks and/or adding under-layout storage. Was curious - has anyone tried or have thoughts on this as a benchwork material? Do any potential drawbacks come to mind? (e.g. load bearing capacity and sagging?)

A productive and eventful day
Since my last blog post detailing the coming work on my engine terminal, I've been working on other projects in the area, not the least of which was cleaning a lot of scenery gunk and oxidation from the rails where I can once again run trains. A big step towards ensuring my continuing level of sanity was finally getting the large and heavy 75 gallon aquarium out of my shop/office/train room and into storage. I drained it some months ago after losing the last of my aquatic livestock that I had been keeping for several years.

Thank You John Glaab
I'm a little behind in my reading, and I just read the January MRH Online News. The first story announced the passing of John Glaab.
I did not know John, but many years ago I visited Cass, WV and rode the Cass Scenic Railroad. I enjoyed the visit and decided to model my town of Ashley Creek after Cass. John released an excellent kit of the Doctor's House in Cass, and I purchased one. I didn't have a layout at the time, but I knew when I started building, I wanted to include that kit.
Where are the Southeast Railroads in New Products?
I am not sure if this is the right spot and please don't think I am being "Political" BUT - I have been silent for too long. I also think this topic has came up before.

BEWARE OF 21-PIN DCC SOCKET DIFFERENCES!
Recently I took possession of a Rapido MLW M420, possibly the best locomotive I have ever purchased. The Scale Trains GE C39-8 I purchased a few months back is also in the same class, FANTASTIC.
