Looking for Bachmann Donor - 44/70 Ton 2-motor

I just picked up two disassembled 1st generation (2-motor) Bachmann GE 44 tonners, and have enough parts to have made one complete runner. The only thing preventing me from getting the second one going is the lack of the 8/13 compound gear that connects the motor's worm gear to the drive axle gear.

So, I'm looking for a donor 1st generation 44 or 70 tonner for parts. I'll take a complete chassis with trucks, or just a single truck, just so long as I can get that part out of it. I don't care about cracked drive axle gears, missing wheels, etc.

Applying photo backdrop to a curved surface

I am going to apply a photo backdrop to a curved surface.  Has anyone done this.  How?

Trains.com

FYI for those of you who use Trains.com

The new site is up and my old login didn’t work it looks like you need to subscribe to Trains.com as a separate thing.

After some initial confusion my son suggested just going to the old MRVP and Model Railroader websites.  Those still work fine.

my subscription is up for renewal anyway so I’m signing up to Trains.com as I want the extra content.  I just wanted to let everyone know the old sites are still there if you are going to Trains.com and don’t see the links.

Rolling stock transport

I do modular railroading, so I need a way to safely and conveniently transport rolling stock. Most of my rolling stock is Accurail, blue box Athearn, Atlas, or resin kits. I value the ruggedness of these but none of these come with the fancy packaging systems seen in more high end models. The boxes clutter up the setup and are annoying to manage also IMO. So here's what I came up with <continued>.

Turnout Throwbar Option Tutorial(CVT and P87stores parts)

Many have been asking me for a CVT Turnout tutorial, this will be the first part in a multipart series on this topic. It is also a stand alone tutorial on making turnout throwbars that look proper and are durable for operations. I will start off by saying that this is an advanced tutorial, and the tools listed to use are not required, but highly suggested(especially the resistance soldering equipment.)

Subscription link sending me to transactions.sendowl.com

I was trying to get into the Running Extra subscription edit page on MRH and I get sent to "transactions.sendowl.com" and it says "Well that didn't work" and there is a picture of an owl.

Is anyone else having this issue?

When I die my train empire and models will all be sold off, how about you?

Good evening felIas, I am just making convo about my extensive train collection. I recently lost my precious mother on October 4, 2020 and it really had me thinking about my own life and passing on at some point so I have made sure to let it be known to Loretta and our children that in the event I pass on today then they simply need to sell my whole collection and not hold onto it for any reason.
