Attaching LED Strips to wood.

I have a question for the experts out there.

I am having to put up my LED strips again.

Last time I mounted them with their own self adhesive backing to a wooden L channel so they pointed straight to the back of the layout.

I wish to do the same this time, however the adhesive on the back is not strong enough anymore.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to "glue" the LED Strips to wood?

Prototypical trailers for local routes? (HO)

Hi all,

I looking for suitable trailers to be used for transporting goods between a team track and local industries, late 60s era. I got a Mack H67 so far as tractor for this, and i am looking at the Walthers 35' fluted trailer and the Classic Metal Works 32' Aero-Van to combine with the said tractor. Would any of these be prototypical for the usage i am thinking? I got up to the point that i should stay below 40' trailer length given my era and local routes.

Whatever happened to the LK&O Layout?

They owner used to post here, then moved to his blog only, and then nothing. Is it still going, sans the blog or is it at a standstill? Thanks.

Who is/was Bobbye Hall?

well much to my pocket book's demise i bought some more ho scale dc brass. but two of them have this little but fancy label glued to the bottom. with the name of "bobby halls". then in very small text a city and state.

was he something as in a store? fine detailer? (one unit painted one in raw brass). just a person, placing a this belongs to me label on the bottom of his power?

yes the label is brass not paper or plastic. and the lettering is relived and has black paint in it. the gears were all dry.

MicroLux tilting arbor table saw

There was a big sale and I just purchased the MicroLux saw.  So far I am pretty happy with it, it's pretty accurate and perfect for small jobs that can't be done with a full size table saw.  My question comes with blade choices.  The instructions state that the blade that came with it is only to be used for wood.  I plan on doing a lot of kit-bashing of plastic kits and the saw makes short work of cutting up structures.  I did cut some plastic and there was some melting that occurred even at a low speed.

Model Railroader Archive website issues

Hi! Long time, no post. I just re-subscribed to Model Railroader as I want access to the Archive website. It allows me to log in and I can read any issue. However, if I leave the site alone for just a few minutes it logs me out. Then I log back in and it brings me back to the latest issue.

I've emailed their support but no help really. I am using Chrome on a Windows 10 PC. Everything up to date, cache, cookies etc... all clean. Anyone else experience this? Any solutions?

Railroading Books - Real and Model

had a post about the Scenery book of his youth and the new found copy. I got to thinking about my books and thought I'd share them. I added the covers to Imgur and was going to share them, but thought it would be a major task with 174 of them! Instead, here is a single graphic with the thumbnails!
