long time, no post
here is my most recent project, as it begins to near completion of a couple phases
a railway gun
the gun is able to be removed from the well car base as well so it can carry standard shipping containers
i am building most of the body out of index card paper, and using winter camo patterns I printed off for her livery
WIP -Brandon’s Auto complete
Another building finished. The flagstone wall on this auto repair shop has turned out well. Still have to put on the signage before fixing it to the downtown area on my layout, The Trenton Subdivision in N Scale.

I noticed this unique new modelling opportunity the last time I landed my plane at home in the daylight - I usually arrive after dark.
Converted Gas Station - Finishing the Hard Part
Now that the basic fascia shape is complete, I can manage the overhang. With this element completed the hard part is over. The rest is pretty straightforward.

Modeling Interchanges Using Protoype Practices
I have talked a little bit about some of the types of interchanges I have managed in the past and I though I would go a bit more in depths into this interchanges. These interchanges on the smaller side and would be good for most medium to small layouts or as an alternate interchange for a larger layout.
Scenery in Staging?
I’ve been thinking (against my better judgment) that it would be nice to have some rudimentary scenery in my staging area and hidden track. Security cameras, and maybe onboard cameras, will allow me to enjoy watching a train traverse through large portions of my layout that will be otherwise hidden. This area, in particular, would be neat to have the cliffs to the right side that the prototype traversed up a valley to the fields above.
