Rusty Rails Painter: Which paint do you use?

I'm about to start painting the sides of my rail and I'm going to use a Rusty Rails Painter to do it.

My question for those who have used the RR Painter with success is:  Which paint did you use?  The paint that Joe's Model Trains sells for use with the RR Painter?  Hobby paints like Model Master or Accu-Paint?  Acrylic craft paint?

Did you thin the paint and, if so, with what and how much?

Any suggestions or tips on how best to use the RR Painter?

Thanks for any help,

Jeff

So how does one go from schematic circuit to circuit board?

I ask this here because I know there are certain folks that can answer. I've never been quite clear on what it takes to get schematic diagram to finished PCB or at least to PCB art. I've always been able to order a board for a pre done project or point to point wire my stuff. My eyes are not what they used to be though and point to point is taking it's toll. I have a circuit I need that is driving me crazy trying to point point wire it and/or troubleshoot it.

Power Tool-- --Hand Tools Cheap Prices for Quality tools Try "PAWN SHOPS"

Many Model Railroaders just starting out just don't have all the fancy tools you see all the older Model Railroaders using. "WELL" FLASH try Pawn shops!!! I walked into a pawn shop this past Saturday while my wife was in the fabric store two doors down from it. It was to hot to set in the Car and I didn't feel like wandering around with a bunch of Old women looking at bolts of Fabric.

Middle school model RR: school's out for summer

Classes have ended, we had a nice graduation ceremony for the outgoing eighth graders headed off to high school, I’ve finished end-of-term progress reports and I can finally turn my attention to planning for next year.

Layouts and hobby shops to visit

I'll be traveling to Burnsville, NC (about halfway between Johnson City, TN and Asheville, NC) and would like to know about any model railroad clubs/layouts that might be available to visit.  Also any hobby shops in the area that are recommended.  I'll be heading down I-81 to I-26 to get there and staying about a week, and anything in the western part of NC and eastern part of TN might be within range, say 1-1.5 hours from Burnsville.

Model Railroads & Structures Show Ep1

Another web-show hits the streets with your favorite misfit as the Host. Come and see why the stiffs are getting up and stretching their disapproving fingers. MR&S show is the talk show that talks about what is up in the community and shares clinics and demonstrations, in each show. We interview unique and unknown modelers of all genres, not because we can't get the best, but because we heard it all before.

The Model Railroads and Structures show isn't for everyone, and that's cool with us...
