Where is the spell checker button?

In my last few posts I have noticed that the spell check button is missing. I still see the red underlines but have no way to correct them without going to the bookshelf and digging out the Websters'.

Help....something changed my screen resolution....

I clicked on the MRH graphic  that Joe put up for folks to use.....I think that's what it was anyway....and now my screen resolution for just this site has changed.  I have black borders on either side of the  white page area and the type is small.  Tough on my 51 year old eyes. Anyone know what I need to do to get things back the way they were?

Counterbalance for trap door

In the October issue of MRH I was intrigued by the article on Jim Ferguson's inspirational layout, in particular photo #18 that showed Jim entering the railroad room via the trap door.  The caption says to watch out for the counterbalance cable -- but I can't for the life of me work out where it is!

Can Someone Explain Exactly What is Being Searched Using the Search Box on the Upper Right?

Hi,

Can someone, anyone, explain exactly WHAT is being searched using the search box on the upper right of the MRH webpage? I have tried using it to find subjects of posts and authors of posts to no avail. This renders it nearly useless to me. But it does beg the question what IS being searched?

Untrusted Connection

Seeing a banner at the top of one of the blogs "Yes, it's a model... (click to learn more)" I decided to click and see if there's something new to read. Instead, I'm presented with the following message:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to model-railroad-hobbyist.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Blah, blah, blah.

Really Enjoying the New Podcast Format

I'm listening to the latest Podcast episode and I've gotta say that I'm really enjoying the new format.  I especially enjoy Jim's real railroading stories.  It's something that I don't get to hear very often and I learn a lot from every story he tells!

Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Videos from older issues.

I have been reviewing some of my older issues and find I cannot access some of the videos.

It seems the videos on Joe's Zip Texturing are no longer on Blip-TV. Have you moved them to another site?

Search function not working??

Hi all,

I don't seem to be able to search the MRH forums.  For example, I type in "allagash" (less the quotes) into the search box up the top of the site, and it returns NIL results.

Now I know for a fact there are posts and blog entires with the word "allagash" in them.

Anyone else having the problem?

Using latest Opera browser.  Same thing with Google Chrome, Firefox and IE.

Cheers,

Ian
