Security problem using link from MRH Vol. 1 3rd Planit article to www.trainplayer.com
While going through Volume 1 of Model Railroad Hobbyist Magazine to reread the article on 3rd PlanIt I encountered an interesting problem.
Thanks!
Wow!
Thak you for providing a wonderful alternative to the printed publictions. While those pubs were the main clearing house for information during my 40 years in the hobby there were many times (and this is one of them) that I could not justify the money for annual subscriptions and still afford to model.

Plug em' when you can
I recently placed an order with one of MRH advertisers: RSLASER. When they sent me a confirming email they asked where I had heard from them. Of course, I responded that I saw their ad in MRH and that I always try to use vendors that advertise in MRH first to help support the magazine.
WANTED: Local modeler in St. Louis!
MRH is looking for a modeler who lives in the St. Louis area to assist us at the National Narrow Gauge convention in September.
This assistant will get their registration for the convention paid by us and they will also get an official MRH T-shirt. You will assist us with our table at the show, and get to rub shoulders with the MRH staff!
If you are interested, please use the contact us link and select the Volunteer to help at a hobby show option.

Apple iPad great way to read MRH Mag
I have an iDisk Account, and the iPad. So after downloading the pdf version of the latest MRH Mag, I upload it to my iDisk Documents folder. Then I use the iDisk App on the iPad to get the Issue and send it to iBooks. Takes a few minutes to complete the task but MRH looks and feels terrific on the iPad. The links in the Mag are live as well and Safari will open and take you to the link on any page.
The online paperless Railroad magazine just became completely portable and transportable.

I see advertisements in MRH, but have nevder been able to get to the site. Anyone know what's going on? I eat and breathe weathering / detailing, so, I'm intrigued about the site.
