I have been reviewing some of my older issues and find I cannot access some of the videos.

It seems the videos on Joe's Zip Texturing are no longer on Blip-TV. Have you moved them to another site?

I found out what was wrong, I

I found out what was wrong, I was using a Windows XP machine and my old version of IE-7 would report that the videos did not exist. On my newer Windows 7 laptop everything works fine with the new IE-10.

We were wondering ...

We were wondering because we never take down content from back issues. Can't say that hobby vendor ads will work forever, but for MRH content, it should always work. Also if a reader unsubscribes and they had content posted on here, that can go away - we encourage people to leave their content on here when they go, but if they insist we'll take the content down. So that's the one other area we don't completely control.

Thanks Joe

Thanks Joe, it is just that when I originally saw your video, I thought how easy it was. recently I was given the 5 DVD set from Dave Frary and Also the three DVD set of Paul Scoles work. I can identify with Paul's work as my layout will be Southern Ontario in 1900 and his is 1895. I have looked online at your series and am debating on ordering it, I just have to wait until I have enough in my "hobby wallet". Unfortunatley the real world expenses come before the "Credit Valley in 1900" railway. I am luckier than most, as I do web design and admin. I do the RSLaser and Hobby-Worx websites and get paid in product. Thanks again Joe for a top notch magazine and the best forum on the web.

Similar problem.....

I've been attempting to view the interactive video content of the articles you ran in Issues 1, 2 and 4 on 3rd PlanIt.

Only Issue 3 works.  For issues 1 and 2, every time I click on the interactive content, a window pops up saying:
"The media requires an additional player.  Please click "Get Media Player" to download the correct media player.  To play the media, you will need to close and restart the application once the player installation is complete."

So I click "Get Media Player" button as instructed.

Then another browser window pops up and says "Sorry, browsing in not allowed in this directory."  And nothing happens.

I'm running Windows 7 and Adobe Reader XI.

Can you help?
