Model Train Closeouts (not safe)

I saw this on another forum and wondered if anyone else had similar experiences?

Anyone ever order from this place? I cant seem to get a response from them via email. There is no number to call them either.

Weekly Photo Fun - Aug 1-7, 2021

It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em.

Removing paint from plastic models

Don't ask how I discovered this, but it seems butyl cellosolve (an ingredient in Joe's acrylic paint thinner) makes a pretty good paint remover for plastic models. It seems to be as fast as Scalecoat II  Wash Away but is less expensive and does not smell nearly as bad.

My question is: Is there a reason I SHOULDN'T use it.

Thanks!

CA + Resin printed part + accelerator might be trouble.

Just a heads up to test what you are doing first.

I had a report of a problem with a resin printed part disintegrating when these three things came together and the resin of the resin printed part disintegrated.

magazine TRP of oct/nov/dec 1995

good morning I wanted to ask if any of you have this magazine  TRP of oct/nov/dec 1995  navigating and under your suggestions the description and photos of the railway used by NASA. My email is vigile.1@virgilio.it if someone could scan me Since shipping to Italy is getting a bit complicated. Thank you

Add a Keep Alive to a Broadway Ltd decoder?

I have a BLI HO SW 1500 that really should have a Keep Alive or Current Keeper because I send it onto seldom used industrial tracks where rail contact is iffy, and it occasionally has to go through an automatic reverse loop section.

I asked Broadway where I could connect one and got a reply, clearly showing the points where  the chassis ground and 12 volt (+) could be accessed. ( See photo)  (And they cautioned that they don't recommend making any modifications.)
