EZ Command run with NCE cab?

Again, barely a novice to this hobby, my end goal on my project is to have one of my grandsons operate one engine, while another grandson operates another locomotive at the same time - is that possible?

I’m using EZ Command on EZ track, I’m not aware how that can be done with just the EZ Command WITHOUT passing the EZ Command module back-n-forth.

Indulge me please. #1) How can I do that - one grandson operating 1 loco as our other grandson operates another?

instructions for 3d printing masks

This thread is *not* about anything off-topic for the forum. If you have a 3d printer, and if you do any painting of things for your model railroad, especially with an air brush, you might want to 3d print yourself a mask to protect yourself from harmful paint fumes, right? Obviously this isn't as good as a proper N95 mask like you get at home depot for painting, but those are sold out for unmentionable reasons, so some might be interested in this info.

With sound

Fairly new to the hobby, I have a tight little busy layout, trains are running. I’m using the Bachmann EZ Command on EZ track.

I want to graduate to “with sound”. It’s been made clear to me that I’m ready to roll with my EZ Command and a Bachmann Sound value package.

I have a question, please: do other brands with “LokSound”, “Paragon”, and other sound systems work with EZ Command?

Purchasing Paint Online

Can anyone suggest a good online source to purchase model paint? I'm looking for Tru-Color, Vallejo and Tamyia. I have always gone to my LHS, now that is on hold for awhile I'm afraid.

Thanks, Mark

Positive effect on our hobby from Activision vs AMG lawsuit?

After reading the summary judgement in the case of "Activision versus AMG" regarding the use of Humvees in the game 'Call of Duty' without IP licensing agreements/royalty payments to AMG, I was wondering how this would potentially positively affect the model railroad world.

General information on the case and a link to the summary judgement can be found in the following article:

Sure gives folks an idea of how the USA produced all that steel that was needed to build that huge amount of war material and vehicles needed for WWll ,...and not just against one enemy, but 2 enemies spread across the world. WOW !!

Gunboat hunting

I am looking for any decent HO-ish scale small warships--river gunboat size, preferably Great War/World War II era. Does anyone know of any good sources or models? (Ideally 1/87th scale, but 1/72 is OK also.)
I really want one--and an earlier or later era is acceptable. The boat's parachronic conveyor can justify it being out of time.

It needs to be an obvious WARship, and  not much longer than a foot long--hence a gunboat, not a destroyer or something like that.
