TCS decoders

I just spoke with TCS support and got an immediate resolution to a question I could not find in their documentation.  I use their WOW steam systems and nave been extremely satisfied, so suggested they work a little more with MRH to produce videos like we see with ESU.  I keep finding new features on my decoders by accident, and could benefit from (and perhaps many could) run-throughs of the many features of their decoders.

N&W Pocahontas District: Scenery Phase II

Now that the the basic cardboard/tape scenery shell is in place on my layout, I thought it might be a good time to start a new blog on continued construction. So here we go with Phase II...

Reverted Loop Staging

All,

I'm in the planning stages of a new basement layout and I was wondering if anyone was using a Reverted Loop to serve open staging as described by John Armstrong?

Multiple searches don't turn up anything other than theory.

I'm leaning toward something similar to Paul Dolkos's new Baltimore Harbor District layout which he is using open staging in his utility area.

If so any advantages or disadvantages to a Reverted Loop?

Thanks,

Lou

I have been busy building my layout hoping to start some operations soon. Having built several layout previously and visited and operated on many more I wanted to incorporate as many of the positives I had seen as possible. The big issues for me ,as usual, were time and space. Being older comfort was important.

Wiring Walthers LED Traffic Signals with DPDT - Need Some Help

Greetings,

I posted a thread a few weeks ago about how I am wanting to have a grade crossing protected by traffic signals that the crew can switch to either let the railroad or the auto traffic have control of the crossing.  Here is a link to that thread:
