Members Wanted--First Coast Model Railroad Society
To All: The First Coast Model Railroad Society (a non profit corporation ,501c) is looking for new members. We have an HO scale layout being built and an HOn3 layout that is complete. The members should live in the Greater Jacksonville, Florida area for your convenience in accessing the club. Monthly dues are $25.00, which gives you a key to the club building, running rights and use of your modeling skills. The HOn3 layout is modular and you may build one if you wish. The HO scale layout is approx. 12 feet by 50 feet and is a two level layout.

First-ever weathered bridge
While I posted at the end of last October about modeling the bridge over the Mattabessett River in East Berlin, CT, I think I actually finished it months earlier. In any event - and now that East Berlin is starting to take shape along with Wethersfield - it was high time it got weathered so I could install it.

Mascoutin Valley Railroad - Crazy Legs
I've been doing some construction on the Yard. I've been using the Free Mo module standards and Modutrak legs standards to base my construction off of. I got the module frames together but the legs aren't fitting in the pockets without some level of "persuasion." I posted a video show what I've gotten done and asking the viewer for some tips or tricks to get the legs to slide a bit better.
The less invasive the suggestion the better!
Home brew photo etch?
Has anyone on this forum had any success,or failure doing their own photo etching? I'm thinking about experimenting with this process as my wife just bought a UV light for her nail polish...
I'm thinking about an easy project like making my own roof walks and end platforms in 1/29 scale.
This video is what got me thinking about it.

Tie Rack Jigs and Curved Track Arrangements
Im underway preparing and laying some sections of track on my logging line. My TOMA sawmill module will have all hand laid code 55.
Over the years i have hand laid small segments of straight track. No problem there but now im starting to tackle smooth flowing cuves for a realistic look.
My question is to anyone hand laying: How are you laying out ties on curves?

Membership Drive
Northern Hills Railway Society is looking for some model railroaders that would like to join a club. At this time we have no dues. All of our Locos and rolling stock is own by the club. The Club is located on Deadwood, Main Street, South Dakota. In recent years we have lost a number of members to the great layout in the sky. So the club is looking for new members to join our great layout. The HO and HOn3 layout is 70 feet long and 16 feet wide and has two main DC lines that run off a dollar machine.

Exploration
You ever had one of those moments when you're searching for a nice addition or even a primary yard for your layout design and stumble on a 8 track yard between two small towns that looks perfect..and then...
