spiking Plier
OOPS I left out some text. I purchased these pliers from Fast Tracks a few years ago and I have used them but they are just to big, I use the pliers from Micro Mark. I was wondering if anybody else uses the Fast Track tool?

Ho scale figures of swimmers
I am trying to find ho scale swimming figures for my river scene. I have tried Walthers but have been unable to fine the figures that are in the attached river scene photo. I am particularly interested with the person on the float. Any information would be appreciated.

I’m trying to locate a post that was made on the Model Railroad Hobbyist website. The post had a river scene with swimmers in the river. See attachment.
DCC & DC, Digitrax AR1 auto reverser?
I have a DCC layout with a reversing section working fine.
NCE power cab and Digitrax AR1.
If I want to hook my system to a DC power pack will it hurt the AR1 or back feed and hurt the Power cab?
If I have a test track that can be either DC or DCC and that creates a momentary short while connected to the DC power will that harm either the AR1 or the Power Cab / PCP?
If so, is there a tested circuit design to automatically isolate those components when DC power is applyed?
Thank you for any information.
Something new - building my own switches
I've managed to acquire most of the items I need to build my own switches. One hang up was that I had a bunch of stuff shipped to a friend's PO Box in Blaine Washington (just over the border from us) to save on postage as there is a significant difference between shipping in the US versus to Canada.
Ballast ideas
I have some questions based upon various videos. Recently viewed a guy that used playground sand and coffee grounds mixed together. And the traditional white glue adhesive. What is a little confusing to me is where in the U.S. could such a color be? Ballast has too many options in color. And if one don't live in the exact vicinity of the area he/she wants to model, is there an accurate source? Google Earth don't get a close enough view.
Propane Dealer Question
Hi, I have a question about propane dealers. I have the Walthers Central Gas & Supply kit (933-3011) and of course, the instructions are pretty much useless. Just exploded drawings, but no clue as to how to arrange the piping and pump house(s). I realize that there is some flexibility, given the "real estate" available for the model structure, i.e., different ways to site the components.
