Fishy fishy fish fish... reefer traffic
As part of my research on traffic patterns in northern Manitoba for my layout, there are obvious sources (mines, concentrators and smelters, pulp mills, sawmills, grain, fuel, propane) and less obvious sources like fish.

Has anyone ever made the correct windows for a CNR wooden caboose?
I ask this because neither does the brass models made by Van Hobbies/Samhongsa nor the True Line Trains models of the CNR wood caboose are "bang on" in regards to their side windows.

Prototype Info - Modern Transload Facilities
Hi All,
Looking to add some interest to my proposed yard area and found a perfect building on my prototype that was recently gutted by fire: in my version of present time, my shortline purchases this adjacent property and converts it to a transload facility to serve the many manufacturing firms in the surrounding area.
HO-Gauge - Bachmann - Pennsylvania Alco 2-6-0 Steam Locomotive Mogul
Just received a new Mogul Pennsy road name and like to add some engine details per a prototype Pennsy 2-6-0. I am looking for detail items to enhance the loco. Suggestion on what details to add and the manufacture that has them.
Adventures in N Scale
After my HO scale CFNR layout sat and collected dust for a couple years, I decided to give some mainline action of the modern day BNSF in Arizona a try. After researching parts of the Seligman Sub and the Phoenix Sub, I was intrigued by the Kingman, Az. area and the entire Phoenix Sub. I picked up a couple locomotives and pieces of rolling stock to test my weathering skills in such a small scale and saw some success. I next built a 1'x4' diorama set in the Arizona desert and again saw some success.
