CN's new GATX (GMTX) GP38-2 leasers - decals

Hello,

CN has put a big order into GATX for GP38-2's in taking leased operations from G&W Goderich-Exeter here in Southern Ontario as well as being power short anyway. I'd like to model one and I can't find a GP38-2 in the skeme and logo's, etc.

I put this in my blog, but I think I want to put it here as well...

This is the Knott's Berry Farm Railroad...

This guy does a lot of videos about theme park history, and was recently doing a video on Knott's Berry Farm (check his Youtube for more on Knott's if you're interested)

He's a bit excitable, of course (like taking a kid to a theme park for the first time) While he was doing his video, he got invited by Knott's to come in the following day to do a show all about their steam engines.

Simulating spray polyurethane

I'm in the planning stages of modeling a small building that was covered in spray polyurethane, used as insulation. It adds thickness to everything and things like windows and doors are "sunk-in". It has some texture but not as much as stucco. Being somewhat smooth in texture but somewhat bumpy overall. Think of a frosted cake; you might have smoothed it but the frosting could be thicker in one part and thinner in another.

Locomotive Frame Lights

I have Googled this subject using various words and phrases but to not avail. Even looked for night photos as a guide. I am looking for information on where to properly position the frame lights on hoods and E-units. Presuming about the center of the trucks? Front and rear? On E-units?

I obviously have way too much time on my hands. Thanks.

Dear C&O Greenbrier Branch fans,

Ok, here's some for the brains trust:
- On the Greenbrier branch (Ronceverte to Durbin, via Cass), was Brill railcar 9055 _typically_ shuttled back/forth (and therefore did some running "tail first"),

Was 9055 _strictly_ turned at each end of its return-runs (IE 9055 _always_ ran "head/cab first")?

- Was 9055 ever (however commonly or otherwise) run with a sister Brill coupled "tail to tail"? (IE run with "a cab at either end", thus avoiding any need to be turned?)
