3 rail Marklin Experts? Need help with restoring
So I recently inherited some HO scale 3 rail Marklin stuff that is from the 1950' s direct from Germany when my great Uncle was stationed in West Germany.
The rail, locomotives and cars all have oxidation from being stored in a airplane hanger all these years. I have a transformer and it looks to be a standard circle of track.
1. What's the best way to remove the oxidation without ruining the models/track?
2. Basic repairs, suggestions before I plug the transformer in and try and run a locomotive?
Boulder Creek - Rollyby - Speedo - anyone used?
Hi All
Has anyone used or has had any experience with the mobile speedo by boulder creek engineering? Link here: https://www.bouldercreekengineering.com/rollby.php
Seems to be a pretty good concept where you get realtime read outs of your current speed.

Trying to locate ON30 Layout
Hi Gang,
I just registered here and am trying to locate the owner/builder of the attached On30 mini layout that I found on a Pinterest site. It links to MRH but I haven't had any success searching.
Thanks in advance!

Wanted code 83 curved left 32/36 turnout
I am in desperate need of a code 83 left curved turnout 32/36 radius, either Shinohara or Walthers. I will pay what is asked (even in gold) plus postage. I know this is a wild shot but hopefully someone out there has a spare one kicking about. Thanks.....
Selling Used Stuff, Options?
Selling model railroad Items through eBay, it seems you barely break even.
Are there “Reputable” websites dedicated to selling model railroad items anyone can recommend?

samhongsa 484 northern
Recently aquired a 484 brass loco and tender. Unfortunately the connection from loco to tender is in a bag with loads of bits. These include springs washers small screws etc.
i have tried various combinations of washers and screws but once on the track it just comes up with a short.
i am DCC and would love for someone to tell me what sequence i can connect the two together with the screws and washers and springs etc
Hope this makes sense

Weekly Photo Fun - Aug 2-8, 2020
It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em. There were several late-comers in last week's post. Check them out, then come back here afterward.
Being able to see what you are building
Seeing what you are modeling is always important. I am talking about building our models, like maybe a freight car or locomotive with detail parts. If you can't see well it is difficult to do a decent job building models. I have a close friend who won't model in HO-scale because he fears not being able to see the models as he ages. Forget about N-scale! Other folks will use magnifying glasses from Walgreens. Others use Optivisors.

Looking for a large, thin, flat screen
Good morning MRH'rs,
I am looking for some suggestions from the model railroading collective...
For a current modeling project, I am looking for a larger format, thin monitor. Specifically, I am looking for a screen that is about the size of a standard 27" monitor but is as thin as an iPad.
My constraints are: no restriction on width (in fact the wider the better), no more that 19 1/2" tall, and 1" or less thick.
