I have a number of Bachmann Vandy tenders that I wish to put sound (and decoders) into. In particular I am looking at the VC16 and VC12 tenders at the moment.

First the VC16 tenders. I want to build at least 3 different versions for experimentation purposes:
1) Mount a Railmaster bass-reflex speaker (already enclosed in its own 'box') on the bottom frame firing out the bottom of the tender.

This past weekend the OK Free-mo group had our first independent setup for the Spring show in Oklahoma City. For our first setup things went pretty well, we had trains running by the time the doors opened at 0900 on Saturday. We did not have much of a layout, but we had a really good time!

I am getting a new computer and it will unfortunately have either Windows ver. 8 or ver. 8.1 loaded on it. My question is will Model Railroad Hobbyist work with it and is there anything I need to do for getting the magazine onto the new computer?
