MRH Magazine general discussion

Taskboard for Tie Strips
I know Michael Rose has used Taskboard for tie strips and I have had some cut out by a local laser guy.
The question I have is how does this stuff stand up against ballasting with water based glue. Will it warp?

Is this photo publication grade?
I took these photos outside in natural sunlight; it's a Walther's Cornerstone kit built pretty much out of the box and painted. Is the image quality and lighting in these photos of suitable quality for use in an article? I have ideas for a couple of short articles, but lack fancy lights or funds to purchase any.
Thanks!

I'm going on a little trip and I am really hoping to spend my flight time in this ebook!

Help get an entry for MRH in Wikipedia
I noticed that Wikipedia has entries in the train publishing area for Model Railroader and Railroad Model Craftsman, but none for Model Railroad Hobbyist.
In the interest of completeness, Wikipedia needs an entry for MRH, but when I tried to make one, they jumped all over me for self-interest reasons.
I don't blame them, but somebody who's not associated with MRH but who knows something about Wikipedia entries needs to come to our defense.

New Rapido USA 37 Foot Meat Refrigerator
I purchased the URTX version (ref 121009-3) on a whim as it does not fit my San Ramon branch line operations. (A full load of hams shipped to Walnut Creak is way after my 1950's era.). The product has not yet been reviewed in any publication I could find so I am wondering if others who might have bought one of these cars would be interested in sharing comments.

Bash The Big Boy?
I don't have one, my prototype didn't use the few, and I have no need or desire for one. They would look really, really odd on my layout- both prototypically and operationally (although they could make my radii). If I had a 1/4 mile literally of straight-ish track...maybe, maybe...
Why the fascination with Big Boys by the loco manufacturers??
