CSX colors codes

Dear Gents,

After several days of research on the web with no real success and rather than selling my Kato Iocs, i plan to repainting them on the CSX scheme, YN2 & YN3, but to do this, i need to know the exact colors codes. As you propably know, Testors, True-colors or other US brands are very difficult to find in Europe, i think i'm going to use Tamiya or maybe Humbrol. I'm taking all informations and ideas you can get as well as any European dealers addresses, if any. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Track Plans

Does anyone here like to draw up track plans? I have bench work built. I just need a track plan for operations and a continuous loop. If anyone is interested I can supply accurate measurements.

Things I am looking for include

1) continuous loop

2) 3 or 4 track yard with diesel facilities (2-3 tracks)

4) double track main if radii will allow for it

5) switching opportunities for a lone wolf or 2 operators

6) scenic dividers (I plan on using photo backdrops)

Allagash - pole yard complete new pics

Hey guys,

A couple of weeks ago I posted images of the new Andover, with a "before" image and then pics of the new area.

Around the bend from Anodover was the quarry, subject of Allagash Scenery Modeling Outside the Box V2. Anyway, the quarry was torn out as well. I know...ouch! In its place is a pole yard that I just completed. This is an industry that rarely gets modeled, so I wanted to give it a try.

I represent an elderly client that has a large train set up that is digitally controlled. I'm trying to help him get rid of it so we can sell his house. We understand there's little value and will be difficult to dispose of but I'm hoping someone could give us some suggestions or someone may have an interest. This is my first post & I'll try to post a photo.

How to blacken chain

I have some Builders In Scale 40 Links Per Inch chain. It appears to be a copper or brass color. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to blacken it, other than painting.
