Dear forum;
I got my hands on a stash of Proto 2000 4427 Hopper Kits sans instructions - after surfing the interwebs I still have naught - does anyone have a link or a scan to share?

This seems too good to be true 24 Bachmann freight cars
I you have seen my other topic, I am thinking of moving from HO to N Scale. I have come across this from Bachmann
This makes them $10.77 each. Normally, N scale frieght cars are around $18 - $24 each. Has anyone bought this set? Is it a quick way to stock up?
Days of future past
There won't be an appearance by Alberta's favourite son Wolverine, however there is a GP9 or two involved. As part of my decision to back date to the 1980's I purchased a couple of GP9, one of which is going to a friend, the other is staying with me. The one I am keeping is of special significance to me.
Introduction to Bessemer & Lake Erie Class NE1 Caboose
Kris Kristofferson penned the line: “I’d trade all my tomorrows for one single yesterday.” I think he may have been a model railroader. We all have our reasons that bring us into this hobby, but the underlying reason, I believe, is nostalgia. It’s true, many of us model the here and now, but the bulk of us are trying to recreate a moment or season in our past.

Greenville & Howland Paper. Work in progress
Working on some foreground scenes for my paper mill complex. Still need to weather the heavy equipment but that will come in time.
The tracks at GHP is the eastern terminus for the railroad and uses both tracks in this area for switching. The layout uses a "modified" double oval being that the main track is the outside loop and the passing track is the inside loop. The passing track has almost all of the industries on the layout with the exception of the Town of Bownell which is the midpoint and has a few sidings there.
Installing Pennsy Signals... the real thing.
Any structural engineers here? Or someone who might have some knowledge of Pennsy trackside structure requirements?
I have a dual head Pennsy signal that I'm looking to install in my back yard, however, I cannot find any information about how the PRR mounted these to the concrete bases, what the subterranean base entailed, or what a proper method would be now.
