ME track code 55!
Today I had a big surprise... ME is making code 55 HO track again! I was about to start hand laying code 55 track for the spur and team track on my modules project, but now all I have to do is space the ties to depict branch line tracks's spurs.

Greyhaven Tramway #6
After much tinkering, may I present Greyhaven Tramway #6:

My TOMA layout components
After seeing the details of the TOMA layout concept. I realized that I have always built in a TOMA style myself. On one hand my dioramas are static models and I agree with that. But my other larger modules are all TOMA candidates.
Scratchbuilt bridge
Just finished up a scratchbuilt timber and steel trestle. 4 days worth of work, not too bad!
WGH Seattle: NMRA not present?
Looking through the list of vendors and displays at this weekend's World's Greatest Hobby event in the Tacoma-Seattle area, there's one glaring no-show: the NMRA.
Perhaps I'm missing something. Unless the NMRA's presence is tied together with the WGH exhibit? Could that be the case? I hope so.
Otherwise, it does the NMRA no good to bleat about membership, but not attend a WGH event. Missed opportunity, as I see it. I don't recall seeing anything from my local NMRA about volunteering at a booth.
Any insights?
Start Small, THINK BIG - TOMA project layout series intro
In this new TrainMasters TV series, Miles Hale and friends build a project layout in the TrainMasters TV studio using the principles of The "One Module" Approach, also known as TOMA.
In the first instalment, Model Railroad Hobbyist editor Joe Fugate explains the TOMA concept. Whether we want it to or not, life changes. And a modern layout plan needs to reflect that. If you’re not in an ideal space at this point in your life, there’s no need to put off starting the railroad of your dreams.

Turnout problem
Ok, I'm open to advice. Here's the problem, and it's in the middle of the layout already "nailed down."
Genesis MP15AC Problem
I know there has been many posts regarding the Genesis MP15AC problem with stalling. Mine has a factory installed Tsunami sound system. It has only been run about 1 hour. When it stalls the sound system continues on. Is it normal for the sound system to continue if there is a electrical pick up problem? It seems to me if there is a pickup problem the decoder would shut down. There is also some gear "grinding" noise it did not have originally(about 3 months old). Any suggestions beyond what I have already read regarding the MP15AC problem?<
Overland Models Trackmobile spare parts
Hello all
I have an Overland Models Trackmobile from a recently deceased friend.
When I wanted to test it, it made a lot of noise and was running erraticly.
So I disassembled the model only to find out that the cause for the noise is the only plastic gear which is in bad shape; the brass ones are still fine. On the smaller gear one tooth was almost gone and several others were damaged. So I need a new gear.
I have tried Brian Marsh from Overland Hobbies, but he couldn't help me since he didn't have any spare parts for a long time.
