HO scale plans for Grain/Feed Mills

I am looking for HO scale dimension plans for scratch building a Feed/Grain Mill. I have about a 4"/6" W x 18" L area to work with. I want to use PVC tubing for the silos and will use styrene for the rest of the building. If anyone has such a plan or know where I could find some on the internet that could be down loaded I would greatly appreciate it. I have spent way to much time on the internet looking for this to no avail.

Thanks for any and all help in making this happen.

Some Digital Magazines have disadvantages

Let me begin by saying I am most assuredly NOT talking about MRH! I have no issues at all with the magazine, the distribution method, reading options, nor Trainmasters TV. I enjoy all aspects of all of the above. I have been a subscriber to MRH from the git-go, and have also been a print & digital subscriber to RMC and MR for many years. As you may know, MR (digital) is distributed through Zinio, a large electronic media distribution outfit. You can either read the mags online, or download them to your computer and read them there.

Laying Ballast -The Easy Way

Ballasting the tracks can bring that all important finished look to any model railroad. Many readers on this site already have their own technique for this, but not everyone is an expert. So for everyone else, who is just learning, here is how I have refined this simple but daunting (if you've not done it before) landscape skill.

Walthers Superliners: "Normal Plated" vs. Proto

Hi all.  I'm starting to assemble a Coast Starlight consist in HO, and I've started picking up IVb Superliners off of eBay if I see one for the right price.

Pella station

MRH June 2017's article "A Depot For The Pittsfield Branch" inspired me to build this Walthers kit.  Author Barry Silverton describes useful techniques.   It's a good kit, but the hole next to the left door is not mentioned in the instructions.  I'll cover it with a light fixture. I also added a window to the clerestory over the station agent's desk.

There's no hole in the Walther's catalog image below.    An overlooked design change ?

Can you recommend a 21 pin decoder?

I'm looking to add a decoder to an HO Rapido GMD-1.  It has a 21 pin socket for adding a decoder.  Ideally, I would prefer to install a sound decoder, but right now, just cannot justify $100+ for the decoder.  So I plan to add a non-sound decoder, at least for the time being.  I've found 3 that are similar in price.

Digitrax DH166MT
NCE D16MTC
ESU Lokpilot

All can be found in the approx $20 range.
