Odd Place Near the Iowa Illinois Border
I was driving to a wedding on Saturday and took I88 below are the Google images of the place. It seemed to be a small yard for the Iowa Interstate but nearby was this large yard full of hundreds of engines I hope some people can help and here they are-

Adventures and misadventures in car weighting
Needing a break from track laying, I decided it was time to add some weight to some recent purchases. I was inspired by the discussions about adding weight to cars elsewhere on MRH - http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/22784 as an example of recent discussions.
HO Scale U-1 Inspection decals
Does anyone make them? I see I can buy Herald King sets on eBay but I am a bit leery about buying them, not knowing how old they are and how they were stored. I don't want to spend $5 + shipping for a sheet of itsy-bitsy decal parts when I put them in water.
HO LBF Trinity 5161 Covered Hoppers??
Does anybody know of any shops that have LBF 5161 Covered Hoppers in stock?
