Stored P2K locomotives
I am aware of the split gear issues with the older blue box P2K locomotives, but I have several that have been stored for many years and I plan to utilize them on the layout that is in the design phase. What can one do to clean the motor when the lubrication turns to the "peanut butter" substance without an all out replacement of the motor?

Allagash - Sunny day on the New Portland Branch with a Maine Central Alco!
Here's a follow-up to the New Portland Branch pics. This series depicts a chase up and down the New Portland Branch.
With the Allagash integration into Guilford, power mixes between railroads. Today, we have the last remaining Maine Central Alco - RS11 802 on the New Sharon Switcher. The crew takes a run up the New Portland Branch on a couple of different days.

Walters NSC well car (3-unit)
I bought a 3 pack of these cars, but there is no drawbar to connect the 3 cars together. Are they supposed to come with one or do I have to get it separately?
There is a coupler on 1 end of 2 of the cars, that's it.
Allagash - New Portland Branch Scenery complete
Hi guys and gals,
Some pics of recently completed scenery on the New Portland Branch. This advance includes all territory from the end of the big feed mill at New Sharon, all the way down the New Portland Branch to "Allen" and the mainline and passing siding at New Sharon.
I can't recall if photos of any of this were ever posted since the scenery was completed in stages. The passing siding at New Sharon was significantly lengthened maybe a year ago. It can now accomodate a 40-car freight and four units.
Allagash op. session photos - Sunday, September 18!
Hey guys and gals,
A few live and unedited shots from this past Sunday's Allagash operating session, courtesy of friend and recent addition to the Allagash operating crew, Ken Karlewicz. Ken is pictured in the "thumbs up" shot. He is officially the AGR staff photographer. Ken's a real talent and finds ways to get very natural, unrehearsed photos.

Best place to power tracks in roundhouse
Good morning. I am in the process of building a 12-stall roundhouse in HO scale. I was wondering where the best place to solder the feeder rails would be? The tracks between the turntable and roundhouse would be more accessible, but it would also be noticeable. My second thought was to drill holes through the roundhouse under the track near where the track ends in the roundhouse. Please note, the roundhouse is being assembled off of the layout and the tracks have not been fixed to the roundhouse floor.
Is Kalmbach TRYING to alienate their customers?
My credit union recently changed to an outside processor for their credit cards. This meant everyone got new cards and new account numbers.
I have several automatic monthly payments, including McAfee, Yahoo and Model Railroader Video Plus, among others.
I didn't think about changing these when the new cards arrived. I don't normally think about them; I just look at the monthly bill for unauthorized charges.

Video sound?
So, I've watched numerous model railroad videos of layouts with dubbed in prototype sounds of trains rolling by. What do you use to dub these sounds into your videos? I'd like to try this with my videos, so is there a special program, is there an IOS or Android app available, or? Thanks.....

Help Identifying a Covered Hopper
I need a little help identifying this covered hopper.
I think it is a Pullman Standard PS-2 but I don't think it is the ubiquitous 4740.
