Allagash 425 - New pics of first Allagash / Guilford-painted power!
Allagash 425, an Alco C425 rolled out of the paint shop last week. Former CR/PC acquired by AGR in 1979.
This is the first, and probably one of only two Allagash, Guilford-painted locomotives planned. We're in April 1984, and there were only a few locomotives from Maine Central, Boston & Maine and Delaware & Hudson painted in the new GTI colors. Following that reality, I'll only do a couple of Allagash units in the gray and orange.
HO scale manhole covers and sewer grates
I looking for very thin castings of manhole covers and sewer grates for a city street. The few I've found appear to be too thick. I saw the new Chooch ones at Indianapolis, but they too were too thick. Rather than carve my already built street,I'd like to find something thin enough to apply on top, like an etched item. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Where is the "How to" section of the forums?
I've been a member but still struggle to post photo's here due to the unusual format used.
It doesn't help that my photo host (Photobucket) is blocked at work so if I am posting during lunch or a break, I can't verify my photo is showing correctly as it always gets an X no matter what. I do have a smart phone so I can check to see if the posted photo is showing but this morning all efforts have failed.

Searching and/or custom searches?
I can use the search button to some success when looking for certain things, but is there an easy way to limit a search to a particular sub forum?
Also would love to be able to search just the layout design database (index) by scale only. As I am looking for particular HOn3 design ideas as I work on my own plan.
It has been fun but....Picasa problems - Sorted maybe..Maybe not...
HI all,
It has been fun posting photos here, but it appears that this may no longer be possible as previously.
Overnight Google has arbitrarily and without warning "archived" all my Picasa albums and disabled the ability to create a suitable link that can be used for embedding photos here and on any other forums and Blogs. Google+ (its supposedly "better" replacement) does not have the ability to create such links or embed photos. The direct link to the photo does not allow embedding either.

What's up With Caboose Hobbies
Does anyone in Denver know what's going on with Caboose Hobbies?
I got an e-mail from them announcing a "Transition Sale" because the landlord is selling the building. Are they moving? Dropping the brick-and-mortar format? What are they transitioning to?
I drove through Denver in April and didn't bother to stop at Caboose Hobbies. Did I blow my final chance to visit train heaven?

National Train Show ???
There was recently the National Train Show... correct ? Absolutely no coverage in MRH or MR for that matter. Normally wall to wall coverage with lots of vendor coverage/product announcements.

MRH Menu Bar on Ipad
I am having a slight problem with the way the MRH website displays on my IPad (using Safari and IOS 9.3.1).
Underneath the MRH logo at the top of the screen is a line of 8 and a bit ads for Trainmastermodels.com. Yesterday I was trying to access one of your advertisers but that line of ads is in the way.
On my PC running Win 10 your website displays perfectly and shows the top Menu Bar (Magazine Advertisers Goodies etc) as expected.
