I recently have been looking to model a Great Northern train that had TOFC cars assigned to it. While doing research I found a listing of assigned trailers that were owned by the REA but assigned to specific railroads. The dimensions of the trailers are also listed but I cannot find any photos of REA trailers. Were these painted in REA colors or would the RR have them in their own scheme? Is there a resource of photos for these REA trailers? Did the REA have a trailer of choice when it came to using a certain brand of trailer?

Recently we've had several instances of new MRH forum members who do not understand how the mark as spam link works. They think the link is private - meaning they can mark threads as spam and the threads will disappear from only their view of the forum.

However, that's not how the link works. The mark as spam link unpublishes the posts for EVERYONE.

Just visited the Blackstone Models website, hoping to get an update on the deliveries dates for the K-28s and K-36s. I noticed the site's not been updated since Dec. 7, 2015.

Without trying to sounding alarmist, five months is eons in term of a business not updating its website. Blackstone maintains a presence on Facebook and Twitters I gather. I don't waste my time at shiny object "look at me" social media sites, so I'm assuming Blackstone is still a going concern.

After 9 years of building my layout with varying degrees of success along with several remakes I have decided to rip it out and deposit it into a rented dumpster. I have made so many mistakes that it is no longer recoverable.
