New Fascia's & Fascia Control Panels...

 

Today I spent the day reinstalling the layout fascia and fascia control panels around Carlisle Junction.  This area was altered when I installed the helix, I also had to add another fascia control panel for the east end of the Staging Yard.

 

The Hills Line - End of the line

NNE Scenic V3 - Design Process

As announced in my NNE Scenic 2 Build blog thread, my imminent move back to NH where we will eventually retire amongst family and friends also has led to a decision to start fresh and return to HO scale after my 6 year detour into N scale. 

This thread will chronicle my design process to come up with the design for the HO scale NNE Scenic V3.

Dismantling and rebuilding ebb and flow (Siskiyou Line 1 teardown, TOMA build)

I'm continuing to dismantle my old Siskiyou Line 1 and exploring how to build the new Siskiyou Line 2 TOMA modules. There were some questions around all this on another thread, so rather than pull that thread off-topic, I've moved those discussions here.

Sliding into Prototype Modeling

I have found myself slowly and inexorably drifting into prototype modeling.  Long ago, I decided to model my locomotives with prototype fidelity, and make sure my other rolling stock was generally correct.  But I hadn't extended this to the layout itself until recently.
