Ebay model railroading listing changes
EBay in its wisdom has changed the way items are listed on Model Railroads . Its now impossible to just browse through craftsman building kits for example. There are more examples. This is bad for sellers and buyers alike. I called EBay today and was told that I could not speak to anyone to register a complaint and could not email anybody! I had to send a letter to San Jose CA Headquarters but with no attention to anybody. Does this action bother anybody else?
Diner from the past: a reference to the old days of toy trains
In this project, we see a firmilliar sight: one of the tinplate cars intended for my friend. This car is beyond an affordable restoration considering its a gift, so after a idea popped into my head I asked if he minded my doing something else with the carbody than restoring it to rolling condition. After getting the OK, I did more thinking. Here's the plan. We're all firmilliar with the idea of old train cars being used as diners right? But they're always older cars than the current era as would make sense.
Goodbye For the Summer
Well school is ending in a week and after that I will not post regularly. Whenever I can I will though. Next year I will also continue the school blog. I am super excited for it and want to thank everyone once again.
Until next summer Trainmaster247 is out!
Hello World!
Hello MRH community!
After a bit of hesitation, I decided to start a blog on this awesome site. For those of you who managed to catch my pictures of a futuristic locomotive or two in the weekly photo fun thread, yes I will be posting build logs here. I also have a few other projects I would like to share with you fine folks, but before then, I suppose a short introduction is in order.
Railroad Patch Collection
These used to belong to my Great Grandfather and I am pretty sure most of them were actually from the railroads. I was given these for Christmas and also have a few more in storage. If anyone else has a collection it would be cool if you posted it here. Lets see how many we can get.
10 to start it off.
Junction Valley Railroad
