Modeling general discussion

Just Mailed My Order
I just returned from the post office after mailing my order for the Model Trains Video DVD "Ops Live Series" (should have done this sooner).
I had the great fortune recently to attend an operations session on the Bear Creek and South Jackson Railroad. It was my first ops session experience, and Charlie Comstock is a wonderful host. I will not soon forget the evening after operating on his fantastic railroad.
Now I want to learn more about live operations, and the videos should be a great overview.

Using Bullfrog switch machines with small scale turnouts
The large diameter throwbar wire included with the Bullfrog switch machines is the secret to making them work so well. This provides plenty of torque to operate even the most stubborn turnouts.
Model Train Help Ebook
Greetings,
Has anyone seen or read this Ebook by Robert Anderson?
I am still very interested in learning but I am finding that I am getting kind of picky about what books I am buying.

Is there a N Scale yardsale?
I know of HO Yardsale and it's a great place, but I am in need to part with my N scale stuff. I tried N Scale and it's just not for me. I have some 10-12 year old Bachman stuff but I also have some nice Microtrains. I've listed a few things on E Bay but the prices of them and Paypal really don't make it worth while these days. Anyone know of a N scale equivalent of HO Yardsale?
Thanks
Steve
Decoder Pro - transfer loco list
I have two computers with decoder pro - I used the laptop to add a new loco at the train board on the programing track. I now want to export the loco roster and import to my desktop so i have two copies. decoder pro has roster, export and roster, import option but for only one loco at a time. I want to copy all the files to avoid the requirement for one at a time. suggestions - thanks mark

Bridge and Trestle Book Reviews Requested
I am looking at two books about Bridges and Trestles that I am thinking about buying and would like to get opinions from folks who might have read them.
One is Paul Mallery's, "Bridge and Trestle Handbook", Fourth Edition.
The other;
Jeff Wilson's, "The Model Railroaders Guide to Bridges, Trestles and Tunnels, Kalmbach, 2005.
Which one is most recommended?
My interest is to learn more about Bridge and Trestle construction so that I may scratch build these structures on my layout.
Thanks for any and all feedback!
Workspace Lighting
I'm finishing up my re-located workbench area and need to provide a little more light to complete the space. The resourcing of said light has been tougher than I expected.
The fixture will have to be fairly close to the work surface (maybe 30") due to having to clear a cold air return pipe, and I had planned on hanging it from the top most of several shelves shelf facing my workbench (see picture below).
