Easiest way to reduce picture size before posting in these forums
I have noticed some members having problems reducing the size of their photos prior to posting them in these forums. If you are using Windows XP the easiest way to reduce the size of any digital photograph is to click with your right mouse button on the photo, select "Send To" from the menu that appears, then "Mail Recipient".
4449 Return to Freedom
For those who are 4449 fans and have Direct TV, the RFD channel (345 in my area) will be showing the episode called the "4449 Return to Freedom" at 3:00 pm Pacific time on Monday 6/7/10. Not sure if there are other TV providers out there that have the RFD channel other than Direct TV.
Someone on one of the forums posted about RFD having the series "Trains and Locomotives" a while back and the DVR has been busy every Monday afternoon since. Some hits, some misses but that is why we have the DVR.
Grab-iron jigs?
This is sort of a stupid question ( I know It's stupid, because I'm sure there's some website or something and I'll find it 5 secconds after this post) How do you make a grab-iron jig and how wide should the grab-iron be? Also, would 26 ga.(or simaler) floral wire work?
I like the grab-irons on the Walthers Proto 2000 locomotives I have (all 3 of them) and I would like to add them to my other locomotives. Any help on making them would be appretiated.
CORP in 2010 on the proto Siskiyou Line - A test run

Using the MRH forums from a readers perspective
Hello all starters of new threads on the forum!
First of all - I enjoy reading the many threads of this forum.
But as you start a new topic, please make a short introduction, as the first post of a new thread is repeated on every new page as the thread grows over several pages.
If you have a lot to say at the start of a new thread, divide your message into two entries!
increase the reader experience!

Resin casting
I'm interested in learning how to make resin castings. Could someone point me to an article or website that would help, or perhaps post a reply with tips, technique, etc.
Also, has anyone had experience with benchtop injection molding? How are results? What kind of costs to get going?
Thanks
Mike Lozensky
How do you know when you have too many?
I have sort of a dumb question: How do you know when you have too many locomotives or tolling stock, and it's time to sell some off (or sell all and start fresh)?
new to these forums
Hello, there. I'm new to this magazine, and these forums themselves (I've been a subscriber ever sence today) I really like this magazine, and I hope to know these forums soon. I've been on other forums, like Kalmbach Publishing's forums, but I can't do more than type anymore. I don't know why, but it won't let me do anything (not even start a new paragraph). If there's anything important to know, please tell me.
