Car Forwarding on the Pocahontas District
The car forwarding system I've made is nothing new, but I thought I'd show it any way to make sure I haven't missed anything important. If I have please let me know!
I know car cards and pockets can be bought from various places, but I wanted ones that were a little bigger than what I've seen. So I bought a box of those book pockets libraries used to put inside book covers for check out, and use those for my car pockets.
Planning for Operations on the Pocahontas District
I'm getting closer to completing all the track work on my layout currently under construction. So I thought it was high time to iron out the operational details that I've had floating around in my head and get something specific down out paper.
Before I start, here's a track schematic of my layout to help keep things straight during the discussion.
(Edit: Revised the schematic. Hopefully it's easier to read now.)

Small Coffee Bean Processing Building
Does anyone have plans or pics of a small coffee bean processing building late steam early diesel eta? Building flat preferred. Looking at building a small 3 sided tropical island coffee operation layout. Areas will be fields, processing facility/loco storage/servicing and small wharf.

Summertime Work

A freelanced HOn3 4-4-0 , with a working bell
"Neskowin" is the end result of a long 5 year quest to add a 4-4-0 to my roster of my Pacific City & Northern Ry. My thanks go out to Craig Hoefer who made up the custom decals for her and to Laurie McLean MMR who shared with me how to add a working bell to such a small loco!
