Stops and Starts
I have finished the West End of the Greater Nickel Plate. However, I have a minor problem in two areas of trackwork. First, let me say that I have reviewed and physically inspected every inch of the DCC wiring and soldered drops - none crossed and all are solid contacts. Second, I have cleaned both the track and wheels of operating engines - usually H-10's with good decoders.
Replacing open-frame motor brushes on an On3 Shay
This week I'm fixing an On3 Shay for my friend. We used to run it on his layout and then one day it stopped. Looking into it, it looks like the open-frame motor brushes are totally worn out, so now I'm trying to find replacement brushes. My googling attempts at locating replacement parts have failed so I'm turning to any insight I can find here :-)

Pacific Car Foundry HO Scale Log Bunks - Grandt Line 5104
Hi Guys,
Im after someone who has a pack on Grandt Line Pacific Car Foundry HO Scale Log Bunks Part 5104.
If anyone has a set handy in their collection im after the width of them scale. Im looking to use them in a scratch build. I would just buy a set and measure but most of the time it is $20 postage for a small parcel from the US to Aus
They are listed under "narrow gauge" but i am looking for some to use on a large amount of standard gauge HO logging flats based on PCF Red River Type Skeleton with Quadruple Bunks
Can an Arduino DCC controller control multiple addresses simultneously?
I would like to create a small diorama, a la shelf layout, whereupon multiple trollies operate. I want operation to be 100% automatic, and figured between track sensors and DCC control, this is very do-able.
LokSound Select reprogramming
I am about to go both feet into ESU decoders. I can get my hands on some Select decoders at a very good price. However, they are preprogrammed with a diesel sound file that I don't want. I want to program it for the Full Throttle steam package. I am also buying a Lok Programmer. Can I reprogram the decoder to the FT Steam? Is there a way to wipe out what's there and start over?

Some experimenting
Whenever I go over to the weathering shop I get all amped up to rust something. This time I actually followed through and rusted up one of those old cheap Tyco trailers.
Static grass and Bushes
I stumbled across this Site from France, shows some great looking grasses and bushes all made using static grass. He uses some sort of resin material for the base that he claims helps to carry the static charge throughout. Would probably ship here, but it is a bit expensive. I like how he creates branching effects with the static grass.
