Lower level stagging design - N scale
Hi all
Looking for some feedback on the lower stagging design below, I want the two ends of the upper level to drop down to stagging and then be able to return again by using a reversing loop, this means using two, one at each end so to utilize space I have the left running at 4" below the upper level and the right running from the Helix at 8" below the upper level so in effect I have two seperate stagging areas.
Thoughts?
2017 Athearn Tbox 60' Gunderson Box Car pictures.
I just received this months release of the 60' Gunderson box cars in the new red TTX scheme and compared them to previous releases of this car from Athearn. I like the flatter paint, almost satin finish. The yellow is brighter and the bottom side is all black. Also the trucks aren't shiny, they are more matte than earlier releases of this car.
The other change I noticed is the application of the white Overheight strip on the ends of the car.
Here are some pictures.

Model Train Clubs
Is there a protocol to visiting a club for the first time? I mean, I don't want to be rude... does one need an invite by a member? Is there anything a person should, or should not bring? If the club is also a museum, should a person just visit the museum a few times first? Is there maybe someplace with a sort of protocol guide to model train clubs?

It's Done! Scratchbuilding a Bakery Complex (lots of photos)
Progress is coming along on the Burbank Branch with a new scratch build, this time of the Oroweat Bakery that was once active in the San Fernando Valley. This build is my modern take on the actual buildings, and while I had previously built the same structures to be near identical to the prototype, I wanted something that filled out the space a bit better. Without further ado...

Loksound and LEDs
I just installed a Loksound Select 6-aux into an HO Atlas C420 using the 8-pin plug. The loco already had resistors in place on the leads for the factory-installed LED lighting. The loco runs and sounds great, but I can't get the lights to work. The Lokprogrammer shows that LED Lighting mode is enabled.
Any ideas what's interfering with the lights' operation? Obviously, I missed something but I'm at a loss as to what it is.

Lighting options...
Having fun playing with lighting and the fact that many of my structures have yet to be fixed in place... www.petercgraham.com
