Help Wanted on Dimensions of Two D&RGW MoW cars
I'm preparing to scratch build HOn3 models of D&RGW rail and tie car 06051 and wheel and tie car 06092. I'm looking for the length of the original cars. I've seen references to them being former 30 foot flat cars. But a plan I found online indicates they were 34 feet long. Surely someone out there has the accurate info and I'd really appreciate it. In addition to prototype length, I'd like to know the width. Many thanks in advance.

Digitrax's new SuperThrottle
I think Digitrax has been listening when people have been beating up on them regarding ergonomics, ease-of-use, and User Interface issues.
They've just introduced the DT-602 series throttle:

Turntable Help Wanted
I have begun assembly of a Heljan #804 turntable kit. I am not motorizing it, but suspect that the "extra parts" that are not marked may be required for that. The instructions don't say anything. Most are discs and there is some string in the package with the wipers for power. I have no idea how to use any of this stuff.
I have assembled the turntable to the point of attaching part D to C and the whole assembly moves freely as per the warnings. Next, according to the instructions involves the wires, sleeves and wipers.

Affinity Photo or other Affinity software suite projects - show and tell
Good evening all,
A suggestion in the "Killer deal on high end Affinity Photo editor" thread was to share your projects that used this software.
So, here we go!
I bought the Photo and Designer suites hoping to enhance my scratchbuilt buildings. One of the main structures on my home layout / modules is a large factory based in Canton OH. See below:

Research Help For Planning A Railroad
All,
Looking for some help on a design project.
Right now the base information I am looking would be mid 1990s CN diesel rosters, and what power was CN shedding during that time period?
1995ish is what I am looking at.
Thanks,
Bob

Scenery Progress
Some more scenery completed, light posts installed. For depth perception for some of the trees I have shaved off half of the foliage. This allows me to place them directly against the back wall.
The pencils stabilize the trees until the glue is fully set.
Until you have the layout space...
Hi everyone,
I am at an odd point in the hobby that I wasn't sure I would reach so soon. 4 years in and my 2x10 modular switching layout is nearing completion. I have 2 dozen cars completed with half a dozen locomotives completed. I have no room to expand at this point with only a depot to build and 6 brass steamers to upgrade, paint, and add DCC to. I am now at the point of dreaming about the future layout in the future home and space that is at least 5-10 years away. I am at the point where I feel I am running out of things to do in the hobby.
