Programming Track Troubleshoot
I have wired my Zepher's Programming slots to a DPDT switch according to the diagram and NADA. Need help troubleshooting. Wiring is as follows:
1. Track is isolated by two (2) insulated joiners.
2. Upper portion of the DPDT (back is a series of 6 screws/lugs) is wired to the main power bus - rt side is positive and left side is negative.
3 middle portion is wired to the isolated track (2 drops) right is positive and left is negative.

New CP Layout
Have finally secured space for a new model railroad (empty nest, former kids room). Looking to model the Canadian Pacific's Slocan and Kaslo branches located in southern British Columbia off the former Kettle Valley Boundary Division. Time period modeled will be the 1970's. Layout will be operated most of the time solo, but will host occasional operating sessions with up to 4 other participants. Layout is to be built utilizing commercial shelf brackets and light-weight construction using foam and plywood sandwich as a base.
UPRailroadJobs on Twitter. . .
We all know unemployment is high and the economy is struggling but the good thing is Union Pacific is hiring!
I like to follow UPs Twittter job postings (https://twitter.com/UPRailroadJobs). It seems that most of the non-management positions are in multiple locations while the majority of management and technical positions are in Nebraska.

Interesting 1:1 Loco consist
A couple of days ago I saw What I thought was an interesting lash up of locos here in Longmont,CO. This is near the old sugar beet plant. I think it services as an interchange with the Great Western Ry.
Other than the GP38-2 nearest the camera, I'm not sure what the other units are. I am clearly not a diesel spotter.
Programming CV29 Help
I finally got enough track laid to properly test my one and so far only DCC equipped loco.
I discovered that the engine speed did not correspond to the speed of the loco... Prime mover would idle through speed step 4. By the time the sound changed, I was out of track.
LAYING TRACK
Getting ready to build my layout. Would like comments pros/cons on the following.
I plan to:
Lay code 100 flex with Peco 100 turnouts (power routing)

Anybody test factor of adhesion on models?
I've been wondering this for a while, and kind of thinking of setting up a test rig. Before I do, has anybody already done it?

Domino Benchwork Construction
I have begun to build the first two dominos for my layout. They are each 2' x 6' and are designed to be one scene. The frames are 3/4" plywood ripped into 3" wide boards. The cross members are every 14 1/2" and evenly split up the area. I am using pocket screws and wood glue to hold the joints together.
Here are all of the supplies.
Modeling Rubber Membrane Roofs
Any body have any ideas for modeling a flat, rubber membrane roof, such as typically seen on industrial buildings? I have several flat roofed buildings for my paper mill complex, and I'd like to vary the roof from the typical tar and stone approach or metal roof that I've already used. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Name that area - your suggestions please
I was just reading another posting on naming locations on a layout and I'm at a loss to name an area in my alcove expansion. The building on the left is Palmer Asbestos and the building on the right is yet to be named. When considering names it can or cannot refer to the industry names. The name of the artist that painted the wall mural is Linda. I may or may not use your suggestions, but I welcome them and thank you in advance for your input.
