Switch Tender Machines - I give up

OK nobody likes a quitter, but I've done just that.  After wasting the better part of two afternoons attempting to get a pair of Micro Mark Switch Tender switch machines to throw a crossover, I removed them altogether and admitted defeat.  These are the machines at issue: http://www.micromark.com/switch-tender-switch-machine,8394.html .

Still Chuggin'

It's been June since the last time I was here. Where does the time go.

I have been working away on my mine buildings (very slowly), and I am progressing well. I have actually finished building my hoist house and am much happier with the result I got. I am starting on the pit head/tipple structure.

This is just a check in, I will return with more and better detail.

Alcove Expansion - Right Rear Corner

With the left rear corner of the alcove expansion "finished" - including Buck & Loretta's place it's now time to work on the right rear corner.  I've decided that since the Gravel Plant will be in the foreground that I'm just going to leave the rear area forested without many details.  Below are a couple of pictures of the work thus far.

Chainsaw #1 - Reconstruction

OK, I'm trying this video thing a la Jason and his JL&T railroad, so I hope I don't bore any of those that dare to watch it.  I figure viewing it is much easier than explaining it.
