Bachmann clinax gears

Does anyone out there have any experience installing NWSL gears in a Bachmann Climax. If you have, any tips   would be appreciated. Also did you use the  Loctite recommended or something else (about $20 a SMALL bottle)!?  Got mine the other day & they are SMALL but not as small as the 2 washers. I think my biggest fear is loosing one or more during the process.

The Georgetown and Allen Mountain Railroad has a new home

I have been too busy for the last few weeks but today is the day: I'm finally announcing that we have moved from Colorado to Florida in June and that I have put up a new dedicated building for the railroad!

The building contains a layout room of 50 x 28 feet, an office, a workshop, and a bathroom.

Norfolk Southern HO Passenger Cars The Business Train

The Norfolk Southern railroad issued a HO Bachmann Silver Series passenger car for their employees, I believe the year was 2007.  These NS passenger cars are hard to find. Has any other manufacture produced a HO NS passenger car for the public?

Frisco HO Locomotives - GP7/9 in Yellow/Black Paint Scheme

I have been looking for years for these models and cannot find them any where - online, hobby shops, eBay, Craig's List, etc.  Anyone out there know where I might find them?

Thanks.

Texas and New Orleans Eastern Division...is now online....

Well this is the first of, hopefully, many more posts.  The Texas and New Orleans Eastern Division is in its infancy stage.  i.e.  I now have a basement, and the ideas on how to put a layout in the basement is flowing.  Once I get back home from Christmas Vacation...(visiting family and friends) I'll post more on the Texas and New Orleans layout and the ideas that I have....

Anyway Merry Christmas to all and to all "Happy Railroading"

Code 70 Switch Problems

Ok, I've got most of the "short" problems solved. However, there is a problem with the code 70 switches not having good steady blade contact and I'm not sure how to solve it. When the engine hits the switch, I can push against the rail with my wood uncoupling stick (to a point the engine hits it) or press down on the ties or the throw bar plastic piece and the rail makes better contact.
