I'm sure this has been discussed before, but a search didn't turn up an answer for me.

First real airbrush project

After my success with a properly working regulator last time, I decided to break in my little Harbor Freight airbrush and shoot a base coat of white on the F7 shell i recently stripped.  I made a shortish video detailing my experience and stuck it on Youtube. Video

I really enjoyed my first attempt and will continue documenting my progress as the project continues.  If this turns out well, I will be moving on to weather the track on my FreeMoN module and then lay down some dirt color.

La Grange & The Helix on the GS&M

Using a section of oak to test bend the plywood that will lead out of the main Helix and into La Grange.  You can see Gila Grains from this angle.

Photo of the Helix exit.  You can see I have not fully finished the front face of the bench work yet at the end of the 1x6.  Gila Springs in on the back wall to the right.

Sad day

Our local train club sent out a notice that Keith Edwards, co-founder of Kadee, has passed away.  He was very active locally and helped set up the Medford Oregon railroad park. Even though he was retied, he will be missed.

See www.kadee.com for the formal announcement.

Rerailers

When locomotives are equipped with rerailers, would there just be one, or would there be one on each side of the locomotive? I've searched and searched pictures on the net, but just can't find an answer that way.

Help needed with a B.T.S. Craftsman kit

I am building my first laser cut kit.It is Anderson's Pulpwood Yard by B.T.S.  I painted it before removing it from the tree tonight, and some of the walls warped. I am thinking of spraying the back with windex and placing some weight on top to flatten it back out. Will this work or is there some other trick I should try. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Alan
