Frisco PB Tower: Revisited
So I've been monkeying around with this project using it to learn how to better use my laser cutter. Much progress has been made, as I climb each learning curve.
Yes, the project load here is lively!
Fitting A DCC decoder in to the HO Atlas AEM-7
I am hopefully about to install some DH163's into some AEM-7's. But the space looks very cramped.
To save me trying to fit them in the wrong place, has anyone done this already and can advise?

Repowering an 0-8-0 Steamer

Micro-Fastener Index Toolbox
So I sat down to a long project of putting together a box containing five spectrum steam locomotives, each a different make. It was a wonderful Ebay find, the price was GREAT. As i try to find screws, I'm discovering some are just out of stock to the point that I can't get anymore.
I was up at Roy's Trains and he has the micro fastener index sitting there and I realize it would be wonderful to have something like that on my bench...and that thought has since evolved into this project!

Burlington Northern Nelson Sub.Layout Update
Here's a first of hopefully many layout updates on my HO Burlington Northern Nelson Subdivision in North Eastern Washington. The layout is based on the prototypical branch of the Burlington Northern From Kettle Falls,Washington to Nelson, British Columbia. The layout is going to be 13x15 feet shelf layout with a peninsula in the middle. The layout is going to depict the 1980's.

CITY OF INDUSTRY LAYOUT Project 02-12
Here is my second project, and it is a departure from my previous plan to begin design on the MP/TP operations in New Orleans, namely the Race St. Yard, and Annunciation St. Passenger Terminal, with some of the surrounding industry which the railroad served, i am still in the very rough planning stage for it still gathering information and maps and photographs of the area for the time period during the war and just afterward, pre-NOUPT era.

How do I post images? I tried and only get little boxes. Please help. Mike

Kit bash/size reduction of New River coal tipple
I realized I haven't posted to my blog in awhile so I thought I'd show y'all what I've been up too with the layout. It became quickly apparent while trying to finish the branch to the mine that I was going to have to have some idea of the footprint. I first though I was going to have enough room for a Walther's New River Mining Co. pretty much box stock with three tracks. Probably could have shoehorned it in there but it would have looked "crammed in".
