Has anyone made small dioramas for model trains?
Hello all,
I have a Lionel display layout for my three rail trains but I also kit bash and scratch build in S and On30 for fun. I built a small diorama with two 3' lengths of track parallel ballasted and some what sceniced to learn how to do scale like scenery in the larger scales in this case S scale for taking pics of my trains that I build be they kit, scratch, bashed or even R-T-R. here are some pics of that test diorama.

Adapting the "Keep Alive" for use with Railpro? - Circuit Guru's please help. - UPDATE: It Works!
I am genuinely frustrated with the performance of a few of my locomotives around my turnouts and I really want to try TCS Keep Alive's with them.
The problem is that the RailPro is not natively KA friendly.
As I understand it, if I would simply wire the KA to the power leads, it would work one way, but if the power was reversed (loco turned) then the KA will burn out.

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT ONE MILLION VIEW MARK
This weekend the Grande Pacific Railroad You Tube channel passed One MILLION views, and has over 4600 subscribers. Thank a bunch. I got the idea to start doing it form this Blog. So Joe you get the credit. No adds.

So, I went to my local home store today to buy some lumber
Precut to certain specs for my modular layout. Wouldn't you know it? The plywood cutting tool for the store was down.... Oh well, got some plumbing and electrical supplies for the house. All the plumbing is now done in the house (8 jobs total), so wife is happy. Maybe tomorrow I will tackle the 2 electrical issues. Wish me luck in not getting electrocuted. Both electrical issues are in bathrooms, which introduces water into the electrical area....
New lighting for real (full size)locomotives!!
New for the rivet counters.
Led lighting for the full size locomotives in the USA.

Now the real ones and your models can have LED's.
Small terminal yard
I've been working on a terminal industrial yard design which is adjacent to a city scape. The design is based in part on a John Armstrong design and on the design found in "The Essential City Yard: OP session - http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/22008.
There are 3 warehouses and three factories to switch. There is also an intermodal (container yard).
Turnouts are No. 6 Peco (code 83), squares are 1ft.
Workable? missing something?
DT402R
I have an older DCS 50 (2.5 amp) and I have a UR91 connected to it. But when I use my DT402R wirelessly it seems to have issues sending messages to the locomotive. I keep thinking it is my wiring, but when I plug it into the DCS 50 or the UR 91 it works perfectly, unplug it problems again. I'm stumped, could someone who has seen this issue let me know what they determined caused it and how did you fix it? Thanks
Steve

JMRI Coverage in MRH
I am glad to see the JMRI coverage in MRH. I have been using it for years, but only the "Operations" module. I'm hoping that this part of the program will be covered in depth as it has a rather complicated learning curve. I got help in another forum to get it setup and really enjoy using the switch-lists and other functions to add interest to an operating session. I think it would be useful if the developers made this portion of JMRI available for iOS on the iPad, - Bill
