Rubber Band Drives
I've been doing a bit of research on alternative motor-axle drive systems to utilize on a 'disguised pusher' to help power up our steam engines that have been trying mightily to do it all on individual selfs.

Weathering some Rapido GP20 tank cars
Rapido Model Trains recently released a nicely rendered model of the Procor GP20 20,000 gallon general purpose tank car. These were ubiquitous in my modelling era and locale so I need a bunch of them. I decided to try my hand at weathering them and they turned out pretty nicely. More here:
Running VIA Rail Canadian
Taking a break from building to enjoy running trains today. VIA Rail Canadian passing the CNR Covipan Intermodal Yard on my layout, the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale. Power consists of three of the four Kato F40's that I customized, pulling 11 Rapido Trains coaches.
Project Finished: Custom N Scale Kato F40 in VIA Rail
VIA Rail 6404 runs through the wash area after completing maintenance in the shop and new paint on my layout, The Trenton Subdivision in N Scale.
Just finished this Kato USA, Inc. F40, including modifications to the shell, installing an MRC sound decoder and a full repaint in VIA colours. Decals are from Highball Graphics Decals.
Improving your hopper fleet with etched end cages - Slabside edition
I used the recently released Black Cat Decals etched end cages for slabside hoppers to fix up a TLT car. These can also be used on F&C and Sylvan kits as well. More here:

Help Identifing Freight Car Truck
HO scale
I need a little help identifying this truck design/manufacturer. I believe it says made in Japan,..so maybe Kato?
