Starting an unspamming run....
I'm going to be unspamming a block of the messages that were marked as spam yesterday. Since the perpetrator started with some of the very oldest blogs, July 2008, we're going to see some posts that haven't been seen in a long time - or ever, by many of our newer members.
Thank you for your patience as I clog up the Recent Posts list with this activity...

This is a blog post covering an HO scale locomotive detailing and painting project for my fictional SPSF Railway.

I am quickly gaining a greater appreciation for the hard work involved in the craft of film making... perhaps it is time for a proper lesson or two before I subject you to any more of this...

Weathering - A hobby within THE hobby
Hi all.
Last night I finished my first diesel custom diesel. It started as a Texas Pacifc and turned into this.
I didn't add any detail, just moved the horns from the side body to the nose, as I seen this on the photos I downloaded from http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/.
So, after seeing Mike Confalone's videos on TMTV, I decided to give this a try.
What do you think?
Please, remeber that this is my first try on diesel weathering.
HOn3 Power Pack

IHC Packing Plant and Cannery for my G&D Sorethroat Branch
Last week I received the IHC Packing Plant and Cannery kits, which I bought from a german
ebay seller. During last week I built the kits and now they are nearly finished. Only some details are missing. And the roofs are not glued down, so that I can add some interior at a later date.

Had to laugh at this....
...was looking at the Model Railroader webcam and saw Cody trying something on the new layout. He couldn't get it to move though i saw what it was right away. He had the controller. plugged in on the wrong side of the powercab jack
