Faller Kit building

Hi.

I would like to show you how I paint and weather my plastic model stations and buildings. This is my first video in English. I am sorry if I didn't use any correct word.

My last attemps at weathering

Hi all.

Long time no posting here.

Just wanted to show you my latest attempts at weathring my locos, while getting back to the hobby (just got divorced, new marriage, ba bla bla, in less than a year...)

All of this was done using just Pan Pastels, oil paints, and the videos form Mike Confalone, on TMTV. Made them both live, on my Youtube channel.

Back to the Hobby - Restarting.. again!!!!

Hi to all fellow modelers.

I have been way of the hobby and this forum just because life got in the way. A lot of work in the train shop where I am working for 12 years now, with new portuguese models coming out almost every month.

That, added to the fact the my 3 year old kid wants to play with his dad with LEGO's and Transformer toys as soon as I get back home.. leaves almost no time for trains.

Arduino question - I need help (DCC++ / JMRI)

So, I always wanted to mess with Arduinos, and trains.

I bought a Arduino Uno clone on eBay and a MotorShield.

I already uploaded the DCC Base Station and I can connect the Arduino to the JMRI PanelPro. The Using WiThrottle on my IPhone 4s, I can see that the Arduino responds, because theres a green led that blink every time I press a button on the IPhone.

The thing is that the MotorShield that I bought is really small, and I don't know how to connect it.

Can you believe....

that this is going to be underwater in few days?

all because it was built a stupid dam. They say that it will provide electricity to near small villages when it was more than studied and proved that this construction will be harmful.

There used to be a narrow gauge line on the left. You can still see the roadbed!

Portuguese modeling! Photos of portuguese models and layouts

Hi all.

While Tim Moran is helping me bringing my layout to life, I thought on sharing some of the Portuguese modeling we have on this side of the pond.

Weathering - A hobby within THE hobby

Hi all.

Last night I finished my first diesel custom diesel. It started as a Texas Pacifc and turned into this.

I didn't add any detail, just moved the horns from the side body to the nose, as I seen this on the photos I downloaded from http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/.

So, after seeing Mike Confalone's videos on TMTV, I decided to give this a try.

What do you think?

Please, remeber that this is my first try on diesel weathering.

Portuguese model trains!

Hi all.

Yesterday, I wen't to a friend's place, for some talk and coffe.

He is a great modeler on building rolling stock.

So, we left the wives and the children back on his living room and went to his train room, so that he could show me what he is up to.
