We are still working on accessing the video/doing it over with a Tablet/replacing a bad cable...etc.

Planning ahead for the next expansion in 2021.  I know some people like to put pen to paper or your archiving medium of choice,  then go for it.  I know in about a year or two I will be working on the section along the west wall.   I have started to plan now and get everything I need in place, from track plan and final operation set up for this area.  It might be some time before track is tacked in place, but I'm planning now for that event.

When I talk about downsizing, I'm not saying the overall size of the layout. In fact, the Ontario South Central Railway has grown 4 1/2 feet with a long staging/Interchange since its inception at its first location. My issue is turnouts. I have about 4 I have to replace. About $150 worth. And as a musician and near min. wage job I can't afford to do that. So...what to do?

First time scratch building a loco.

Saw a small train the other day on my way to Walmart.....CSX GP40-2 couple of boxcars, couple of tanks,  working the remnants of the Erie Railroad Lockport Branch, (no camera, phone hanging on wall at home where it belongs....) when it occurred to me that I have lived here long enough to have outlasted three railroads! 

Work and Hobby become one.

Construction of my SP Lordsburg Sub has begun! My first (of four) stud walls went up yesterday. The first view is standing in the doorway looking in and the second is from the opposite corner of the room looking back to the entrance.

My, My have I been taking my sweet time announcing this one. Many of you may, or may not have already seen my thread/blog entry on the built of an O scale trolley truck from scratch. I had promised that I would create a new entry to share the build of the trolley that would use this scratchbuilt truck.
