SCARM layout software v. 0.9.23
The new SCARM v. 0.9.23 is ready – download it from www.scarm.info :)
It comes with several new features, many updated libraries, some bugfixes and improved functionality. The most important new features are Background image, the Ballast roadbed in 2D and Track Heights numeric input.

Ho Scale Shipping Container kits
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a company that may be selling ho scale shipping container kits in styrene? I know I can download and/or buy card kits but I would rather have the corrugated steel look and not a print out.

Surplus Motors
I'm always on the look out for surplus items that are mechanical and related to model railroading. Two such items are gears and motors. They can be used for animation and so forth.

Richlawn RR V2 - Backdrop Junction self-adhesive backdrop test.
I'm still trying to decide what to do about a backdrop and thought that I would test the free sample that I received from Backdrop Junction. My walls have a rough texture so I wasn't sure if the adhesive would stick and how it would look. I applied a small sample and must say that the "bumps" in the wall texture don't look bad and may actually add a little 3-d effect to the trees. Here are a couple of pictures that you can click on to enlarge. We will see how well this sticks.

Thinking about trying my hand at scratchbuilding...(N Scale)
so I have an odd distance from the front of my layout to the closest siding, and I was thinking that a long, narrow warehouse would fit in real well. I was thinking about making it a sale 50 feet wide, 200 feet long, and have three car spots, with roll up doors. I plan to model a pair closed, and have one open. I was thinking about having a concrete floor foundation that is the same height as a boxcar floor, and appearing like this:

Westinghouse Schnabelcar decals
Hi all.
Does anybody know where I might find suitable decals in HO for the Westinghouse WECX 201 schnabelcar?, I am building it from schratch and this is all I miss to finish it, any hint will be most appreciated.
