Duck-under hazards
Well I decided long ago (due to space/scenery needs) I'd need to have a duck-under. Some 5 years later my knees and back are telling me otherwise.....anyway...
What would happen...
If one put flat paint down (say, Polly S) and then tried to do the decaling without a gloss coat? I'm just curious as I wait for another coat to dry before putting the gloss coat on...

TT Scale Tank Car
Hello Folks,
We're looking to produce a ready to run tank car for our next venture in the exciting world of TT scale. A 16,000 gallon funnel flow tanker seems to be just the right fit. Popular enough to have been throughout North America, carried a number of commodities, well sized for smaller TT layouts and has a nice modern appearance for "the new TT". However, other than what Walthers says about them I don't know much else.

Workbench Tool Caddies
Just wanted to pass on a couple different tool caddies that I made.
The second one is the one I stuck with and use daily, the first design was a stepping stone to get to the second.
I did like that the first one had a place for glue, that idea didn't work so well with the second. First one had it's problems too.

The current issue has an interesting article on signs...
Organizing tiny drill bits
In the process of doing a lot of locomotive and rolling stock detailing, I'm accumulating quite a few of the small #61-#80 drill bits. Other than the ubiquitous circular plastic stand that holds one of each size, how do others organize the plethora of little bits? I find the circular stand problematic because it's easy to either stab one's self, or alternatively, to bend one of the nearby bits. So far I haven't actually broken any, and I suppose I can survive this, but if others have better techniques, I'd love to hear about it.
