Decals for number boards arrived!!!

This will be a couple of posts on adding decals to number boards. Bill Berlinger sent me a set for a locomotive I’m upgrading/updating. I thought I’d share the journey.

The thirteenth St. Louis Railroad Prototype Modelers meet kicked off July 26th in Collinsville, IL. I was there with a few hundred modelers when the doors opened. Tables filled quickly with a variety of models.

Today the Mrs. and I visited Michael and his wife for a WONDERFUL meal where Michael made his homemade Alfredo sauce for Chicken Alfredo! I didn't get any pictures of the food or delicious peach cake but I did get a couple of pictures when we adjourned to his layout to run a train.

Thank you guys for a wonderful time! We had a blast!

Airbrush siphon bottles

I'm stumped. My Badger 200 airbrushes work perfectly well with color cups, but sometimes I have a large area to work on, and drawing paint from a bigger siphon bottle makes more sense. But recently, they aren't working. I'm spraying at pressures anywhere from maybe 15 to 25 psi, but the paint won't pick up.

Apologies for hollerin' at 'cha on the forum, but using the "Search" function didn't turn up anything.

Anyway, gotta' ask...

Is there a thread or something in which you describe your weathering methods you use on your plastic kits to ready them for your layout? I like the shadowing effect under the cast details and am interested in what you're using and doing to achieve that.
