Correction: ProtoThrottle auctions end at 10pm EST

Sorry about the wrong time initially.

Disillusioned...

So the short version of the story is I moved about a year ago into a condo and dismantled a good sized HO layout. I've always been a bit of a "rubber gauger" between HO and N scales. So to satisfy both itches I have built an N scale layout on a hollow core door, and a 16" x 96" HO shelf switching layout. Best of both worlds. One would hope...

For those who might be interested in the current two ProtoThrottle auctions on eBay, we are adding custom brass handles for an additional benefit.

Venders of signals and signal systems

I am looking for Integrated Signal Systems.  The website is on the web but it seems dead.  I have sent emails on the website with no answer.  If some outher vender has taken over there line please let he know.

Mailing Packages

Folks,

It is my understanding that both "stamps.com" and "usps.com" have on line services where you can establish an account, then print out mailing/shipping labels and also appropriate postage (stamps).  I guess I said that right - I've never done this before.

The whole idea of doing this at home and giving the outgoing package to our letter carrier is a lot more appealing than going to the post office and standing in line....

The use of craft paints - First rate video

I know most of the US modelers are lost since the demise of Floquil paint.

Many things have been said about the subject and I don't ask to reopen the debate.

These video's by Jason Jensen on You tube will close the debate for sure.

Magnetic paint

Anyone have experience using magnetic paint in place of between the rails magnets for delayed uncoupling? I read that one club does this and seems to have good luck with it. But reading reviews of magnetic paint on the website of one of the big box stores revealed a lot of negative comments. I am trying to find an inexpensive or less expensive alternative than Kadee magnets.

Need some mechanical advice

I need some advice: I'm using G-scale switch stands to throw my HO scale turnout points. There's an adjustable set screw at the bottom of each stand where a cable attaches to the open end (seen on the right in the photo attached).
