Here as I promised, my N Scale layout in operation. Recording with my Blackberry Playbook did not do the sound justice, especially the bass. Hope this interests someone.
Thanks to MRH my HTC phone now reads the emails and the website.
I'm now able to view the MRH emails/newsletters on my HTC cell phone. I can also view the website on the HTC just like I do on my wife's iPad. Kudos for making it happen. I have been able to lay in bed with the HTC sync'd to the wireless network to read all the post and see all the photos. Though the HTC screen is a lot smaller than the iPad the HTC weighs a lot less than the iPad.
Thanks!

Users Blocking blogs with the Spam button
Ok, I have been the "victim" to the "Mark as spam" even though my Blog was not "Spam" . It would seem there are those among us that wish to impose their views about what constitutes as Spam. I will suggest that people posting messages about other Magazines or Books should be considered as "Review's" other then spam. If you have a bias against a magazine (i.e. Model Railroader ) thats fine by me,but dont mark a post as spam because one of the MRH subscribers post information about "News" that that publication is doing.
Using my new Kindle Fire
I promised JoeF that I would report when I had tried the MRH mag on me. Kindle Fire.
I'm happy to report success. I'll report more later. It is slow typing on this little screen, but it
is doable.
Cheers
Bill
Thanks Everyone!
What a great day! The "Greater Nickel Plate" lives - - we have a DCC power pack and controller; DCC decoders for the engines; track; power cleaner for engine wheels; new Nickel Plate Society Magazines to read; a new Nickel Plate T-Shirt for my birthday (Thank you, Peggy); and an assortment of other goodies I needed to work on the railroad.
Hand-laying outdoor track "O" scale.
I want to create an "O" scale garden railroad and have questions about hand-laying track. Does anyone have any recommendations for the track and ties? Also any suggestions for roadbed.
To avoid electrical problems I will be going to battery operated trains and radio control.
I have been surfing the net for ideas but there are almost as many opinions as people and some are contradictory. I live in Connecticut so the weather changes from one season to another can be dramatic.
A very simple (and free) thing that YOU can do to help Model Railroad Hobbyist
Ladies & Gentlemen,
First of all, this posting is my own idea and NOT at the request of MRH. That said, we can all help the success of MRH by promoting it each and every time that we can. Many of you are doing this now on your blogs and websites. I encourage all of you that are not to do so. It would also be helpful if your link contains one of the graphics that you can get from the MRH folks to help it stand out on your page.
