Make Sectional Track in larger lengths and larger radius

I would like to make some 'sectional type track' in larger lengths, and bigger curves' than what you can purchase. And I figure to make it out of flex track.

Unlike the situation where you are laying flex track out on a layout roadbed and attaching it to the roadbed, and nailing or glueing it in down in place, I'm looking to have some 'sectional tracks' that are a very consistant curves, and in larger lengths than we normally think of.

So how do I make up these larger sections from normal HO flex track code100??

New LDEs for Critique

Hello again,

I have re-worked my LDEs on all 3 decks based on some of the suggestions from the other thread (Classification Yard next to Staging?)

Please take a look at them and give me your critique/opinion about the general arrangement, operational aspects, and anything else that comes to mind. Everything should be self-explanatory, as it is marked in the LDEs.

PRR diesel paint color(s) & eng. #'s

The topic of this post has somewhat always annoyed me, especially as I'm colorblind. I've read that there are two different color(s) that the PRR used to paint their diesels, (Brunwick Green, which some say looks very close to black), and Tuscan (a reddish color of some sort). The diesels painted in the (Tuscan scheme were used in their named trains, right), those in B. Green were for freight service? From what I think I remember as a youngster growing up in New Jersey.

need pics of innards

ok gang i need some help.  I just bought a couple engines on facebook and need help identifing one of them.

It is an sd-9 loco in prr paint scheme.  I know it has sound because it works fine however it will not move.  When I opened it up there was a board I was not familiar with and 3 lights on the inside.  2 amber lights for the headlights and one yellow one kinda in the cab area.  The board has a bunch of plugs in it for vairous wire groupings, and has a big capacitor also incorporated in it.

Little ole me was like "Instructions are on the internet" and "I will never go DCC" I am pretty sure all Bowser Executive Locos are 21, im pretty sure this is Executive before I tossed the box...
